About Dr. Salome Dineros.
Dr. Dineros received her Doctor of Psychology at the University of San Francisco, (1997); M.S., California State University, Los Angeles, Counseling Psychology, (1990); B.A., University of California, Santa Barbara, Sociology, (1984). She is a licensed psychologist and maintains a private practice in San Francisco, where she sees adolescents and adults for individual and family therapy, as well as couples therapy.
Dr. Dineros has worked at St. Francis Memorial Hospital's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for nearly six years as a Psychologist conducting individual and group psychotherapy with adults who suffer from depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. Prior to SFMH, she was the Chief Supervising Psychologist at St. Luke's Department of Psychiatry Inpatient Unit and a training supervisor for the Pre-doctoral Clinical Internship Training Program. Dr. Dineros also worked in a community mental health outpatient clinic for nearly ten years at the Richmond Area-Multi Services, RAMS, Inc., and served as a faculty clinical supervisor for their APA Pre-doctoral Internship Program. She is a former Director of the University of San Francisco's (USF) Family Counseling Center and has taught as an adjunct faculty at the USF's Counseling Psychology Department since 1999.
